Lahaina Arts District

Before the 2023 fires, Lahaina's Front Street was one of Hawaii's premier gallery corridors. The art community is rebuilding — the talent is still here, the galleries are finding new homes, and the creative energy has not diminished. Paia: The Living Arts Village

Paia on the North Shore has emerged as a thriving arts community. Galleries, studios, boutiques selling local art, and working artists who have made Paia their base create a walkable village that feels genuinely creative. The juxtaposition of surf culture and fine art gives Paia a character that is entirely its own.

The Shops at Wailea

The Shops at Wailea hosts rotating gallery exhibitions, live performances, and cultural events. Several galleries in the complex carry significant Hawaii artists — work by artists who have made Maui home.

Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC)

The MACC in Kahului is Maui's premier performing arts venue — a 1,200-seat theater that hosts everything from the Maui Philharmonic to visiting Broadway productions, international performers, and local theater companies. The Castle Theater is the centerpiece, and the outdoor amphitheater hosts community events year-round.
