Where to Play Pickleball on Maui: Every Court, Every Level

Maui now has dedicated pickleball across the island — public county courts, private resort facilities, and a dedicated 12-court club. The community is welcoming and growing fast.

South Maui

Waipuilani Park, Kīhei — 8 dedicated courts. Free, no reservations, open daily 7am–7pm. The busiest public pickleball location in South Maui with strong morning drop-in play. Kalama Park, Kīhei — multiple courts, ocean backdrop, active community across all levels. Weekend mornings get busy early. Wailea Ekahi Village — court near Pool 2, owners and guests only. Four Seasons Resort Maui — dedicated courts with GEL Plus surfaces. Reservations required, one hour per day included for resort guests.

West Maui

Ohana Pickleball Club, Lahaina — 12 covered courts, instruction, organized play. Open to the public with court fees. ohanapickleballclub.comKapalua Tennis Garden — dedicated pickleball courts alongside tennis. Drop-in sessions and weekly programs. Napili Park — four resurfaced courts, free, open daily 7am–7pm.

Upcountry and Central Maui

Eddie Tam Gym, Makawao — indoor, county-run open play typically Mon/Wed/Thu 10am–2pm. War Memorial Complex, Wailuku — indoor courts, drop-in typically Tue/Thu evenings. Check the Maui County Parks schedule for current times.

Aloha Pickleball, Kīhei — an 18-court complex under development at the Maui Research & Technology Park. Not yet open.

Waipuilani Park in Kīhei is where most South Maui players start. The morning community is welcoming and the courts are free. For buyers who want pickleball steps from their unit, Wailea Ekahi is one of the few South Maui condo communities with an on-site court.
